Getting access to relevant scientific literature is often difficult – in particular for African students. Many scientific journals securely store their publications behind a paywall, which makes these articles often unattainable for young students.

The Giraffe Conservation Foundation is committed to making the latest scientific information available to everyone through the Giraffe Resource Centre, an online knowledge hub dedicated to everything giraffe. The Giraffe Conservation Foundation has so far collated over 1,500 articles and publications that are now stored in the Giraffe Resource Centre for public online access.

Did you know?

For every four elephant, only one giraffe remains in the wild in Africa.

The Giraffe Conservation Foundation (GCF) is the only NGO in the world that concentrates solely on the conservation and management of giraffe in the wild throughout Africa. Our work includes multiple giraffe conservation projects across Africa, including the return of many giraffe to their original habitat.
