Can you imagine a world without giraffe?

There are less than 100,000 giraffe left in the whole of Africa, and GCF works tirelessly and passionately to keep them safe. In Uganda we continue to work closely with the Uganda Wildlife Authority to increase numbers and populations of threatened Nubian giraffe. Boosting existing populations is vital for securing their future in the country. With only 35 giraffe in Kidepo Valley National Park, this population needs an added boost to thrive.

Help us save giraffe in Uganda!

Funds raised during World Giraffe Day – 21 June 2018 will support Operation Twiga III, an important conservation translocation to add more giraffe to the important population in Kidepo Valley National Park, which has recovered from only three individuals in the 1990s.

By supporting GCF and World Giraffe Day, you will help to keep that world without giraffe from becoming real.
