Africa’s Giraffe – A Conservation Guide

By February 15, 2016 July 11th, 2017 No Comments

This is the second edition of our popular booklet Africa’s Giraffe – A Conservation Guide. The first edition was the first-ever comprehensive publication on giraffe conservation in Africa and this updated version aims to shed light on the latest developments in giraffe conservation.

There is only limited information available on giraffe in the wild – so little that we call them the ‘forgotten giants’. Here you can learn more about the four species of giraffe, their numbers, distribution, habitat, coat patterns and conservation status. The guide further explores the significance of giraffe and identifies conservation issues and threats.
